Stress is a HUGE part of our daily lives that has been proven to lead to anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, insomnia and whole host of health issues. Our culture is one that pushes us to the extreme of productivity, with our endless to-do lists, constant stimulation and fast pace of life. Through all of this, how are we to keep up and maintain a sense of sanity and joy through it all?
Come learn about a special category of herbs called Adaptogens. They’ve been scientifically proven to help your body cope under stressful situations including physical, emotional and mental.
Adaptogens are THE herbs for the 21st century- a must for the herbal enthusiast who wants an edge on beating the effects of daily stress ;)
Plus! The healing power of nature (includes gardening!) and how to harness it to encourage well-being and a state of peacefulness.
Learn the 3 herbs you can grow in your own garden and to decrease anxiety, improve a sense of calm and gently help with sleep.
Note: Everyone who signs up for all 3 workshops will take home a fresh herb to plant in their yard or balcony, so they can follow along with the experiential learning process of growing, harvesting, & making remedies at home, generously provided by Sustainable Food Edmonton.
Thanks to SFE’s partnership, we’re able to keep the cost of the workshops down & within reach of many 💖
$42 per workshop
* To get this savings, you will be asked to bring proof of membership to the workshop
Please Note: The 2 scholarships that were available for those in financial need, generously provided by SFE, have been FILLED. Thank you.
