Workshop #1- Herbal Medicine in the City
Date: Wednesday June 5th, 2019
Time: 6:30- 8:00 pm
Location: Zion Baptist Church (in the Community Garden)
11908-132 Ave, Edmonton AB
Come meet the 6 medicinal plants you can grow right here in Edmonton, to start your medicinal herb garden this year!
Plant them in the community garden and learn how they like to grow...
Bring your notebooks- we’re going to learn how Catnip, Thyme, Sage, Lemon balm & Spearmint are powerful healing plants & why you want them in your garden and herbal apothecary at home.
Take a plant home, so you can get it in the ground in time for a long growing season*.
Don't forget the mystery plant! This is a herb you don't want to miss & definitely want to grow this year ;)
*Everyone who signs up for all 3 workshops will take home one of the above plants to plant in their yard or balcony, so they can follow along with the experiential learning process of growing, harvesting, & making remedies at home, generously provided by Sustainable Food Edmonton.

Thanks to SFE’s partnership, we’re able to keep the cost of the workshops down & within reach of many 💖
